EXPOSE MEDIA DISTORTIONS AND NEWS BLACKOUTS REGARDING TRUE AMERICAN JOBS PICTURE

--Young male U.S. Armed Forces Veterans had an unemployment rate of 29.1% in 2011!

--Official U.S. Youth Unemployment is at 17.1%, and overall Official Unemployment at 8.1%. While these are unacceptably high figures, the Real Unemployment Rate is much higher--over 22% per shadowstats (using the methodology by which unemployment was calculated in the 1980s, before the numbers became politicized)

--Over 1.8 Million U.S. born individuals with Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) degrees are unemployed, out of the labor market, or not working in their fields, according to the American Community Survey of the U.S. Census Bureau! Yet Senator Schumer (D-N.Y.) sponsors the 'Fairness for high Skilled Immigrants Act' which would remove per country limits on skilled Immigrant Immigration via the H1b program.
CCN asks: What about Fairness for American Jobseekers?!

--And the Open Borders Crowd is developing Legislation that would mandate Massive Increases in the numbers of H1b Immigrants admitted.

--Nevertheless, Job Cuts in High Tech Industries continue apace. Hewlett-Packard, for example, just announced 27,000 Jobs would be cut. Many of these Cuts are of the jobs of Older experienced American workers. Leading Tech Industry Bosses clearly hope to import younger lower paid immigrants to take these formerly American jobs. Americans are often required to train their foreign replacements as a condition of receiving a severance package!

--To make matters worse, American Taxpayers are subsidizing the importation of Legal and Illegal Alien worker competition! For example, the U.S Treasury reports that Illegal Aliens annually receive $4.2 Billion in refundable Tax Credits via the Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC) program.

--These ACTC Subsidies are in addition to the multi-billion dollar annual Health Care and Education Subsidies provided to Legal and Illegal Immigrants!

ACTION TO TAKE

Encourage your Representatives to support the Vitter-Sessions Bill (S. 577) to close the ACTC loophole!

Since over One Million Permanent Residence Visas (Green Cards) authorizing their holders to work in the USA are issued ANNUALLY, it is essential to push for a dramatic reduction in Legal Immigration.

The most (and arguably the only) effective way to achieve a reduction in Legal Immigration is to push a zero-net Immigration MORATORIUM. Only by pushing a MORATORIUM do we delegitimize the entire concept of Mass Immigration.

So when pushing for a 'Good Bill' like S. 577 (or when opposing a bad one) it is essential to SIMULTANEOUSLY push for a Moratorium Bill to maximize pressure and to send the message that a continuation of Mass Immigration is unacceptable.

The Mass Immigration MANAGEMENT Approach of pushing ONLY for a reduction in certain categories is counterproductive because it sends The Message that Mass Immigration in all the other Categories is OK! This MANAGEMENT Approach thus FACILITATES a continuation of Mass Immigration.
