Behind Closed Doors, (Again!) and Contrary to their Public Statements, Open Borders Advocates are Scheming to get a Bill enacting a Major Illegal Alien Amnesty and tripling Legal Immigration, passed this Year. Consider:

-- Though Speaker Boehner (R-OH) recently said it was unlikely any Immigration Bill would pass this year, his Spokesman Michael Steel more recently said "...we will continue to work on step-by-step common sense reform."

And this is consistent with reports that the Speaker and other House leaders are delaying bringing any Bill to the floor until the deadlines for filing for Primary races are past later this Spring. This delay reduces the chances that Republican Establishment politicians will be opposed by Tea Party or other Reductionist candidates.

-- Indeed, Majority Leader Cantor's (R-VA) "KIDS Act", which is remarkably similar to the Democrats DREAM Act, would legalize Illegals up to 30 Years Old who entered as Teens! And that KIDS Act contains other Bad Provisions which are remarkably similar to those in the Horrendous Senate Bill (S.744).

-- And House Republican Leader Darrell Issa recently released an Outline of his own Illegal Alien Amnesty Bill which is remarkably similar to that Horrendous Senate Bill. It would give millions of Illegals a Green Card and eventual path to Citizenship (i.e. Voting rights).

-- And there are Credible Reports that if Bills can not be passed before the November election, they will be in the Lame Duck Session.

-- And pro-Amnesty Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is reportedly circulating a "Discharge Petition" in the House which pressures the House to bring a Bill to the floor immediately.

Of course the Obama Administration is pushing hard for passage of the Senate version of the Illegal Alien Amnesty, which would triple legal immigration.

Contrary to the Obama Administration's expressed claim that they want Americans' Wages raised, they continue to push the Amnesty Bill that would depress wages and displace yet more Americans from jobs they now hold.

As Senator Sessions (R-Ala.) says:
“The President’s top economic adviser has said we need a tighter labor market — a statement completely at odds with the Administration’s foremost legislative goal… [which is] an immigration plan that will dramatically surge the number of workers competing for jobs…” (Sessions' statement to The Daily Caller headlined: "Obama’s top economic adviser presents two different faces when discussing labor market, immigration." The Daily Caller Posted By Neil Munro On 11:14 PM 02/23/2014).

Bottom Line: The AMNESTY THREAT IS INCREASING, NOT DECREASING! The only way to Stop this Threat is to INTENSIFY OUR GRASSROOTS OPPOSITION. PLEASE HELP! As a co-sponsor of the ASAP! Coalition, CCN is pushing ASAP's Plan of Action as follows:

Ask your Representatives, and those who wish to go to Congress in the next session, to make the following PLEDGE:

1) Vote NO on ANY Discharge Petition and/or immigration Bill which could go to conference with, or includes any provisions of, the Senate Bill

2) Vote NO on ANY Amnesty or Work Permits for Illegal Aliens

3) Vote NO on any Bill increasing Legal Immigration, whether via H1(b) increases, or otherwise.

4) Agree to push a zero-net Moratorium Bill in the next Congressional Session (but NOT in this session, because any such Bill would risk coming out of Conference Committee looking like the Horrendous Senate Bill)

Pushing a zero-net Moratorium Bill in the Next Session is Extremely Important. CCN is a co-Sponsor of the ASAP! Coalition which laid out the Rationale for pushing for a Moratorium years ago.

Regardless of whether all objectives are reached, pushing a zero-net Moratorium is the Necessary Condition for successfully opposing the Open Borders Lobby. From a Strategic Perspective, pushing a Moratorium is Essential to de-legitimize the whole Notion of Mass Immigration.

Further, a zero-net Moratorium Bill is key to achieving U.S. Population Stabilization, long-term Environmental Protection, Budgetary Solvency, Tax Reduction, low Unemployment and Social Cohesion.

Therefore, pushing a Moratorium maximizes Pressure to get some Reductions at least.

Refusing to push a Moratorium (as some Mass Immigration Management (de facto) Groups do), is a Recipe for Failure, since that puts the Reduction Movement on the Defensive. And being forever on the Defensive increases the chances of passage of Bad Bills, e.g., Illegal Alien Amnesties. How serious about actually achieving Immigration Reduction can an Organization be, if it refuses to push a Moratorium?!

Any Immigration “Amnesty” Tidal Wave Bill which enacts an Illegal Alien Amnesty or increases Legal Immigration (we reiterate that the Senate Bill would triple it!) would create a Demographic, Budgetary, Public Health, and Environmental Disaster that is magnitudes greater than Mass Immigration is already creating.

Phone Calls or Office Visits followed by Snail Mail letters are most effective (emails are often ignored and fax machines can be turned off).

So Please help CCN Intensify our Opposition to ANY such Bill NOW!

The House Leadership is Now determined to enact their Open Borders “Principles” into law, even over the opposition of many congressmen and women who know and agree with their own constituents' objections.

Only our Massive Grassroots Effort can stop this ill-conceived Open Borders policy!!
