URGENT ACTION ALERT

June 1, 2022

Stop Biden's attempt to Approve Frivolous Asylum claims --

and Stop the Mass Alien Amnesty Bill which still threatens

On May 26, the Senate voted down! S.J.Res.46, a joint resolution providing for congressional disapproval of the Biden administration’s recently proposed asylum rule explicitly designed to speed up approval  of frivolous asylum claims. To INSTANTLY legalize, in other words, the illegals flooding across the Border

The resolution would use the Congressional Review Act, a law that gives Congress the power to overturn federal agency actions – such as the Biden administration’s asylum rule. That rule, “Procedures for Credible Fear Screening and Consideration of Asylum, Withholding of Removal, and CAT Protection Claims by Asylum Officers,” would INSTANTLY  rubber-stamp asylum applications at the border.

...............the rule thus allows asylum officers to rubber-stamp frivolous asylum claims. It is a thinly-veiled attempt to normalize the high number of illegal aliens surging across our southern border by INSTANTLY legalizing them and to mask the increased surge that the Biden administration anticipates will occur whenever Title 42 is no longer in place.

The rule does nothing to discourage illegal immigration, nor does it eliminate any incentive to make a fraudulent credible fear claim. Rather, the rule seeks to simplify and weaken the credible fear review process, which will result in a higher rate of aliens without adequate claims gaining asylum or receiving protection from removal. This will encourage more illegal immigration and fraudulent asylum claims, which is the Biden administration’s end goal.

Senator Ron Johnson, a member of Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs (HSGAC), introduced S.J.Res.46 in order to stop this rule from going into effect. The Senate failed to pass the joint resolution by a vote of 46 to 48. All Republicans voted in favor of the resolution, joined by just one Democrat, Joe Manchin of West Virginia. It is worth noting that several Democrat senators who have been critical of the border crisis, such as Kyrsten Sinema and Mark Kelly of Arizona, voted against it.

Fortunately, Mitch McConnell (R-Ky)  submitted a Motion to Reconsider which means that the Biden Administrations Frivolous Asylum Claims Rule could still be stopped when the Full Conference returns after the Holiday Break.

Call your Senators NOW and them them to support S.J. Res 46 and

Oppose the Mass Alien Amnesty Bill which still Threatens!

With Title 42 possibly expiring if/when the Judge's TRO expires or is overruled, the THREAT of the Bill (deceptively called the Save Title 42 Bill before the Judge issued his TRO) which would enact  a multimillion Alien Amnesty, plus virtually uncapped Legal Immigration grows ever nearer and COULD PASS ANY DAY -- HELP STOP IT!

ACTION; Contact your Members of Congress and insist they Save Title 42 for Health reasons,  HOWEVER,

insist that they NOT use any Bill saving Title 42 as a PRETEXT for enacting an Illegal Alien Amnesty and/or

increasing Legal Immigration in any way  which some Open Borders Reps. plan to do.

In sum, the Open Borders Reps'  "/Bill is a COVER for Asylum for ALL the Millions of Illegals in the USA plus those incoming,

plus a dramatic increase in legal Immigration

--

In sum, Rep. Salazar’s Mass Alien Amnesty bill is basically mainly a con-job that open borders cheap labor Republicans plus leftist Democrats can enact any time this year UNLESS WE STOP THEM.

So please help CCN stop The largest Illegal Alien Amnesty in U.S. History and end MASS legal immigration!

URGENT:Contact your U.S. Representatives and Senators repeatedly and urge them to oppose any Bill which contains ANY Amnesty Bill provisions or provisions increasing Legal Immigration whatsoever...Insist they support an all-categories included zero-net MORATORIUM on Legal Immigration (which would still allow 150,000 settlers annually) plus a stand-alone Save Title 42 Provision

Also note that CCN is pro-Legal Immigrants but anti-Mass Immigration!

And Most Important to Note:

ONLY pushing CCN's all-categories-included zero Net MORATORIUM on Legal Immigration  MAXIMIZES the chances of stopping this Horrendous Amnesty Bill.

Pushing any less restrictive number, as the two National Mass Immigration Management Groups do, will likely result in a Compromise Bill reducing the numbers by just a few hundred thousand at most..... a totally unacceptable result.

Indeed, since those two National Mass Immigration Management groups refuse to support any Moratorium Bill (like Rep. Gosar's e.g.)

THEY ARE DE FACTO ENABLERS OF CONTINUING MASS IMMIGRATION!!

URGENT:Contact your U.S.Representatives and Senators repeatedly and urge them to oppose any Bill which contains ANY Amnesty Bill provisions.

"Last week the federal government unilaterally extended temporary work authorization to hundreds of thousands of Aliens currently in the country with a work permit. The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) granted an automatic 540-day extension of all work authorizations to eligible foreign nationals in the U.S.

The new 540-day extension is a massive expansion of the standard 180-day extension last offered to foreign nationals by USCIS in November of last year.

According to the administration, the work permit extension is just part of an effort to ease USCIS backlogs and save time. But in reality, the vast extension is just another effort by the Biden Administration to welcome and employ as many foreign nationals as possible despite the national interest or American workers interests..

In March 2022, USCIS reported an employment authorization backlog of approximately 740,000 applications."

Despite the 986,000 immigrants reported as unemployed in March, the foreign-born working-age population expanded by some 1.4 million, Y-O-Y, for the seventh straight month. Thus the growth in the immigrant workforce population far exceeded the job growth recorded by either the Payroll Survey (431,000) or the Household Survey (736,000)  USCIS May, 2022

From March 2021 to March 2022:

·Immigrant employment rose by 2.286 million, an eye-popping 8.8% gain, while native-born American employment rose by 5.326 million, a 4.3% gain. ADVANTAGE IMMIGRANTS

·The immigrant adult population rose by 1.397 million, a gain of 3.10%, Y-O-Y, while the corresponding native-born American population increased 1.044 million—a 0.48% rise. ADVANTAGE IMMIGRANTS

·The immigrant labor force (people working or looking for work) grew by 4.98%, more than twice the 1.88% gain in the native-born labor force. ADVANTAGE IMMIGRANTS

·The data  are from a survey of households which includes self-employed workers, agricultural workers, and private family workers, who are excluded from the more widely cited Payroll Survey. Also overlooked, we contend, are illegal immigrants working “off the books” in large corporations.

·Labor Force Participation Rates rose for both native-born Americans and immigrants, but the 1.1 % point (or 1.71%) gain for immigrants was larger than the corresponding gains for native-born workers. ADVANTAGE IMMIGRANTS

·Unemployment rates for native-born workers fell by 2.2 percentage points, or 36.7%, while immigrant unemployment rates fell by 3.4 points, or 60.0%. ADVANTAGE IMMIGRANTS

·5.691 million native-born, and 1.092 million immigrants, were unemployed
in February; over the past 12 months the number of unemployed immigrants fell by 47.6%, while native-born jobless declined by 35.4
%.ADVANTAGE IMMIGRANTS

The big picture: The U.S. economy still has roughly 1.6 million fewer jobs than before the mass layoffs that began in February 2020.

"Immigration Is No Fix for Inflation

Analysis shows cutting wages by increasing foreign workers wouldn't significantly reduce prices and would harm the poor

Washington, D.C. (May 4, 2022) – The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and other lobbying groups have called for increases in immigration to reduce wages and control inflation. A new analysis by the Center for Immigration Studies estimates that even substantially reducing wages for all less-educated workers, or in the occupations where they are concentrated, would have a negligible impact on consumer prices because such workers account for only a modest share of the GDP.It is simply not possible to control inflation by reducing the wages of the less-educated because such workers earn so little to begin with,” said the report’s lead author, CIS Director of Research Steven Camarota. “Bringing in more foreign workers to lower the wages of workers who don’t earn much in the first place also seems grossly unfair.”
